First, I learned that helium is the second most abundant resource in the entire universe. It was even discovered on the surface of the sun, before we figured out it was on the Earth. We only have helium at our disposal because we get it out of the ground. And it is not a renewable resource, at least at the present time. BLM Helium Stuff
