I’ve been working on a new main wing for my Super Cub. Giving it an aileron upgrade, with more surface area on the movable parts. Also giving it some nice Monocote covering of white and orange. Will post pictures when it is done.
We went out flying tonight, at the new ( empty ) neighborhood a few miles from my house. I took the Super Cub for 2 x 8 minute flights. It is such a nice trainer. I am getting pretty good at flying it, if I do say so myself.
Also took the Spitfire out for one flight. Still working on the hand launching of the plane, I always seem to have a hard time on the first throw. But at last, I got the warbird up in the air. It is really nice flying, and when the battery finally died, I almost smacked Erika right in the head on the landing.
Charging up the batteries tonight, then more in the morning, weather permitting.
